Dated brick turned bright white farmhouse
Full masonry wash, priming and two coats of exterior paint over the brick, with the window trim and shutters brought down to a crisp black. Same house, completely different home.
Rotted lake dock walkway rebuilt
The old walkway boards were split, cupped and unsafe underfoot. We tore off the decking, checked the framing, and rebuilt it with new pressure treated lumber — solid the whole way out to the slip.
Backyard deck rebuilt from the joists up
Framing on proper spacing with galvanized hardware, then new decking screwed down flat and square. The part nobody sees is the part that keeps a deck solid for years.

How much does it cost to paint a house in the Knoxville area?
Every house is different, so we give a free written estimate before any work starts. Exterior repaints are priced on square footage, siding material, number of stories, and how much prep and repair the surfaces need. Interior work is usually priced by room or by the whole project. You will get one clear number up front with no surprise charges added later.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free and there is no obligation. We come out, look at the actual project, answer your questions, and give you a written price.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Clark's Home Solutions is licensed and insured, and we can provide proof of insurance before we start work on your property.
How long does an exterior repaint take?
Most single-family homes take three to six working days depending on size, the amount of prep and repair needed, and the weather. We will give you a realistic schedule with your estimate and keep you updated if rain moves things around.
What is the best time of year to paint in East Tennessee?
Spring through fall is ideal for exterior work, because you need dry surfaces and daytime temperatures that stay above roughly 50°F for most modern paints to cure properly. Interior painting can be done year round, which makes winter a good time to book inside projects.
Do you do the prep work, or just paint?
Prep is most of the job and it is the part that decides how long the finish lasts. Depending on the project that means washing, scraping loose paint, sanding, filling and caulking, spot-priming bare areas, replacing rotted boards, and masking everything that is not being painted.
Can you replace rotted deck boards instead of building a whole new deck?
In most cases, yes. If the framing and posts underneath are still sound, we can replace the damaged decking and railings and save you the cost of a full rebuild. If the structure is not safe we will tell you straight and price both options.
